About & Beliefs

Our confession of faith:
Baptist Faith and Message 2000

Other historic confessions that we generally align with:
Abstract of Principles – The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith
Notable exceptions to the 1689 Confession:
Chapter 7 – Of God’s Covenant
It is proper to distinguish between the biblical covenants, for they are not different administrations or dispensations of the one covenant of grace. Instead, the covenants are distinct, progressively revealed, and find their fulfillment in the New Covenant.
Chapter 19 – Of the Law of God
The law of Moses is a unified whole that is both fulfilled and terminated in Christ. Christians are now under the “law of Christ”.
Chapter 22 – Of Religious Worship and the Sabbath Day
The Sabbath day command in the law of Moses is also fulfilled and terminated in Christ and is not a binding or regulated requirement for believers in the New Covenant.
